The studio designs starting from the assessment of the unique opportunities that each project offers. Working closely with clients, the design team conducts rigorous initial research to develop a solid understanding of the program to realize the client's ambitions. Gianluca Bacci Architects develops projects that do not start from fixed formal ideas; our work is oriented towards the quality of the process and the ability to create an environment through which a unique, comprehensive project can emerge, capable of meeting the specified requirements and needs.
The practice offers its expertise for public works and private clients. The studio's approach is rooted in attention to the social and environmental sustainability of the built environment and its role in our collective quality of life. The goal is to ensure design excellence at every level of the creative and construction process through continuous dialogue with the client. Over the years, the studio has gained experience in various disciplinary fields and now offers its services for:

Gianluca Bacci
He was born in Lucca and graduated with honors in Florence in 2001. As apprentice of Giuseppe Cruciani Fabozzi, he served as his assistant and collaborator. He conducted supplementary teaching activities at the Restoration Design Laboratory under the chairmanship of Pietro Ruschi in Pisa. Since 2014, he has been a contract professor at the "Laboratory of Architectural Restoration" at the same University. He is registered with the Order of Architects of Lucca (No. 624) and the ARB Architectural Registration Board of the United Kingdom (No. 087079J). The early years of his professional career saw him collaborating with prestigious European architectural firms including David Chipperfield, Jean Pierre Buffì, Hans Kollhoff, and PDP London Architects. From 2004 to 2016, he was a partner at the G2BA Associati studio. In his professional activity, he has been involved in architecture projects for private individuals and public entities in various disciplinary fields.
